Note: The deadline for completed applications is March 15 of the year for which you are applying. The deadline for the Fall 2013 - Spring 2014 academic year has passed. We will begin accepting applications for the Fall 2014 - Spring 2015 academic year in October 2013.

How do I apply for the Midway Honors Scholars Program at ETSU?

First, complete the general application for admission to ETSU and submit to East Tennessee State University Office of Admissions, PO Box 70731, Johnson City, TN  37614.  For more information concerning the application process for admission to ETSU, please visit the Admissions "How to Apply" web page.

 Then, complete the Midway Honors Scholars Application.

You’ll need to:

• Provide a cover letter;
• Prepare a resume;
• Obtain three letters of recommendation (downloadable reference form);
• Prepare a response to an essay question;
• Provide official transcripts for any college work completed; and
• Submit a completed application containing all the above materials.

Specific details concerning each of these requirements are provided in the application form.  Partial applications will not be considered.
