Nature of the Award The award covers tuition, fees, books and travel, and provides a stipend for both men and women under the age of 26 to study for two, or with special permission, three years in any university in the United Kingdom (Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales).  Approximately 30 scholarships are warded on a regional basis. Procedure Applicants must have at least a BA by the time they take up the scholarship, a 3.7 grade point average and preference is given to unwed applicants.  Applicants must have the endorsement of their university of college. Applications are due in October.
