There has been some confusion regarding when it is appropriate to use the new Extra Compensation Request Form. In response to suggestions from the university community, we are revising the Extra Compensation Guidelines to clarify the appropriate use of the form. We have also modified signature requirements to streamline the process for smaller requests. The major adjustments are 1) additional detail in the definition of extra compensation and employee eligibility and, 2) a change in required approval level for requests, single or cumulative, based on a $5000 threshold.
