College of Medicine - Department of Biochemistry - Assistant Professor.  The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the James H. Quillen College of Medicine seeks a second full-time Forensic Pathologist for the Upper East Tennessee Forensic Center. The Center is responsible for performing approximately 300 forensic autopsies per year for the eight counties comprising the First Tennessee Development District.  The applicant should be board certified or eligible in Anatomic Pathology with either special qualification certificaiton in Forensic Pathology or with fellowship training in Forensic Pathology with eligibility for special qualification certification in Forensic Pathology at time of hire. The applicant must also be eligible for a Tennessee medical license at time of hire.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
