| Richard Ashley joined ETSU’s Human Resources staff on September 1, 2004 after relocating from Tallahassee, FL to Mars Hill, NC. A native of Quincy, FL, he received a B.S. degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, an M.S. degree from Georgia Tech, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He served on the Staff and Faculty at the Military Academy for eight years, and as Professor of Military Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Retiring after twenty-five years in the Army, he served eleven years as Training Manager and Bureau Chief with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. | Jennifer Procopio joined East Tennessee State University's Employee Development Center (EDC) on July 1, 2012. She manages the Career Skills Enhancement Program. She is currently a graduate student at ETSU, pursuing a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. She is a graduate of Converse College and East Tennessee State University. In addition to her position with the EDC, Jennifer is currently an Adjunct Instructor at ITT Technical Institute. When she isn't in the classroom, Jennifer is an active volunteer teaching assistant with The First Tee of Johnson City, TN, a youth development program focused on the game of golf. As a volunteer tutor with the local community center, she teaches ESL and Adult Literacy students. Her previous professional experience includes being a home school principal and teacher. | ||||
