FOR ALL EMPLOYEES East Tennessee State University pursues its mission based

potential; DEFINITION Employees in this class are under general supervision. Work performed
in making production preparations, setting up and operating an offset press.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED - Calibrates color and shading with densitometer. - Matches and mixes ink. - Performs preventive maintenance. - Maintains supply of ink and chemicals. - Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES - Willingness to work until job demands are met. - Ability to operate presses 35 x 22 and larger. - Ability to perform preventive maintenance. - Ability to follow instructions.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Applicants possessing these qualifications have a good probability for success in this class. However, applicants not possessing these qualifications should apply if they believe their training and experience will enable them to perform the work successfully. High school graduate or equivalent; three years experience on sheet fed offset press equipment and 35 x 22 presses, OR equivalent specialized training. Date Skill
