Function of Position
This position is responsible to the User Services Manager for the majority of
all new PC setups within an assigned campus zone of responsibility.
The position provides desktop support for multiple operating systems and
applications; configures computers for network access; provides technical advice
and guidance to user wishing to purchase new equipment and software; and
provides support to two (2) Specialists that cover specialized campus zones.
This position is responsible for overseeing the installation and desktop
configuration for use of all Imagistics multifunction copiers.
The (Senior) Analyst 3 plays a vital role in the yearly disbursement of
new PCs.
Essential Functions

Responds to helpdesk tickets (PC support).

Provides support to Specialists.

Gives Imagistics support.
Secondary Functions

Works on special projects.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Abilities

Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications.

Ability to troubleshoot and facilitate solutions in a creative manner.

Ability to problem-solve.

Ability to communicate complex computer problems to users in an
understandable manner.
Supervision Given and Received
Performs under general supervision.
Plans and arranges own work which is directed toward an established objective.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 3-5 years experience.
