Function of Position
Responsible to the Associate Vice President for Facilities Management for
coordinating event, maintenance and project scheduling; and performing other
related duties as assigned.
Essential Functions

Coordinates event, maintenance and project scheduling.

Supervises four non-exempt employees within the Key and Move Shops.

Monitors day-to-day operations of the TMA work order system including
creating and distributing work orders to the Key and Move Shops.

Develops and updates yearly painting schedule for buildings within the
university.

Recommends and assists with yearly tool and equipment purchases.
-
Schedules work on maintenance and renovation projects.
-
Coordinates university remodeling projects with outside vendors and
contractors.

Develops and assists with annual motor pool vehicle replacement
recommendations.

Processes work orders and responds to customer scheduling requests.

Provides estimates for work requests.

Provides technical support for maintenance and renovation projects.
Secondary Functions

Oversees Conversion Crew set-ups for events.

Assists with the planning and scheduling of camps, conferences and
athletic
events.

Assists with the planning and scheduling of minor campus remodeling and
renovation projects.

Monitors and reviews budget expenditures on a monthly and annual basis.
assists with building audits.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Abilities

Knowledge of project/management skills

Ability to handle multiple projects.
Supervision Given and Received
Performs under general supervision.
Plans and arranges own work which is directed toward an established objective.
Supervises classified staff.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. degree in building trades; five years experience in
maintenance/construction.
