Provides advanced practice primary care in compliance with the Tennessee Nurse
Practice Act; documents all services; collaborates with other clinic staff,
clinic director, and preceptor; supervises staff as assigned; participates in
quality assurance activities; and demonstrates a commitment to serving
vulnerable populations.

Assesses, diagnoses, and treats acute and chronic illnesses.

Provides screening and health promotion.

Prescribes, issues and monitors drugs.

Provides patient and family education.

Complies with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, Medicare, Medicaid and other state
and federal regulations.

Documents accurately all services, including electronic or hard copy patient
charts, encounter forms, coding

Collaborates with clinic staff, clinic director, and preceptor as needed to
provide care.

Supervises staff as assigned.

Participates in quality assurance activities by evaluating own performance and
identifying and implementing actions for continuous quality improvement.
