The Certified Administrative Professional Certification is recognized as the national standards for secretaries and other administrative professionals. Examinations are administered twice a year in May and November by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).

Video tape and printed study guides for the exams are available in the Sherrod Library. Subject areas include: accounting, business law, economics, office technology, organizational management, and others. Audio tapes are also available for checkout.
