March 28-March 30, 2003
Kevin Sharp
Kevin Sharp
pens tunes as inspirational as his life's story. Diagnosed with terminal bone cancer, he got the Make-A-Wish Foundation to hook him up with country producer David Foster. The rest, as they say, is history. He beat the cancer and went on to record his debut solo album on Asylum, Measure Of A Man, which was released in 1996 and hit the Top 20 Country charts. His follow-up, Love Is, was released in 1998. Though rooted in country, Sharp employs a style that crosses genres and showcases his wealth of talent.
