Media & Events
Access services to record, produce, edit, and distribute seminars or other special events with digital and audio equipment and software.
ITS maintains an inventory of equipment for faculty and staff to checkout for developing online classes, special projects, travel, or other special events. Inventory available includes laptops, projectors, video recorders, and microphones. Contact ATS today to request the equipment you need for your next project.
ETSU Cable TV operates on a fully digital system. Your digital television must have a QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) tuner built-in in order to work with the school's cable service. If you have a compatible TV, you will need to have it auto-scan for channels after hookup in order to ensure you are viewing all available channels.
How to setup a new TV and Scan for Channels
ETSU’s supported tool for video conferencing is the Cisco WebEx product. WebEx is a web-based conferencing software used to share information and host meetings over the internet. Some synchronous online classes are taught using WebEx, allowing students to view entire class recordings afterward. Other classes are taught via the ITV system in conjunction with the Codian Bridget. View additional information and determine which method works best for you on the ATS video conferencing website.
