Student Technology Council

What is the ITS Student Technology Council?

The ITS Student Technology Council is a group of diverse students from across campus who can give us feedback about such things as

  • existing technology
  • new plans and projects
  • website and mobile app redesigns

Why should I join?

You can be the first to know what's going on with technology on campus and give important input into how things should look, how they work, or what is available to students. You will get to see and test new systems and designs before they go live.

How much time will this take?

The group will meet about once per month on campus for 1-2 hours per session, probably in the evening. Refreshments will be provided.  Follow us on twitter @ETSU_ITS for updates

What are the qualifications for membership?

Be a currently enrolled ETSU student and be willing to work on beta systems, review plans and projects and be a voice for your fellow students! We need a diverse group of students, so if we start getting too many of one gender, major or classification, then we may have to decline some applicants.

Does is cost anything?

NO! In fact, you will most likely get a free meal or at the very least some hearty snacks out of the deal.

How do I Apply?

It's easy, fill out the form below to submit your application.  Apply early to be sure you are included, then follow us on twitter @ETSU_ITS for updates.
