Why Be a Buddy?
Numerous studies have shown that
children involved in any type of peer mentoring program are less prone to
violent and aggressive behavior.
Many children come from one parent households and do not have a positive
influence in their lives.
Children need guidance and understanding to avoid situations, such as
becoming involved with drugs or gangs.
Many children feel that no one cares what they do or who they become.
