Fresh Start
The Fresh Start / PACE / Job Readiness classes are provided for Families First customers to help them succeed in becoming self-sufficient.

Fresh Start / PACE - "Kids Smart"

Parents learn how to build on their strengths to improve their parenting skills. They also learn the talents and skills that make effective parents also make effective employees. This is a four week activity, scheduled Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Fresh Start / PACE - "Money Wise"

Families First customers learn to avoid financial problems by managing current income and setting goals for the future. First Wheels, a no interest car loan program to provide customers with transportation, requires a five (5) hour financial Management / Buying a Car class in order to qualify to apply for the loan. This class is offered in the afternoons by appointment and is part of the PACE program.

Job Readiness

Families First customers prepare to interview with prospective employers. This two week curriculum focuses on:
