Johnson County Initiatives

On January 1, 2000, the E.T.S.U. Keystone Community Partnership Center received a $160,500 grant from the Levi-Strauss Foundation for economic development activities, including micro-business development, in Johnson County.  Subsequently, we opened our E.T.S.U. Economic Development Center located at 305 West Main Street in Mountain City.

The Keystone Community Partnership Center’s Johnson County “Economic Development Center” activities are led by Tom Anderson, Director of Economic Development for the Center.
Current initiatives include:

Development of Micro-Business Enterprise

 Microenterprise Incubator

Johnson County Tilapia Project

 Youth Computer Training Program
