Post-Employment

Post employment services are offered for Families First participants that have returned to the work force.  It is designed to provide support during this major change in their lives.  There are several tools used with the participants.  Your Employment Success is a series of workbooks that cover several topics to help participants prepare for employment and overcome any possible obstacles.  the Job Entry Talk is a tool used to establish participants' work goals and clarify is there are any possible problem areas that need to be addressed.

Weekly contact is made to address employment education, self-improvement skills, and problem solving services.  During this process, we also keep our participants informed of the varied programs available, including First Wheels, Home Ownership Training, Youth Programs, Individual Development Accounts (IDA), and Motheread/Fatheread.

For more information, please contact Pat Wingo-Gass at (423) 439-6067 or via e-mail.
