The East Tennessee State University student chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) began in 1991 and has since grown to more than 60 members.

You will be among more than 6,500 students at more than 220 colleges and universities nationwide as a member of PRSSA. Not to mention, you get a better idea of what it will be like to be a  public relations professional. The student society aims to foster the following:

• An understanding of theories and procedures of the profession.
• We encourage the highest ideals and principles.
• We instill a professional attitude.
• We encourage an Associate Membership into the Public Relations    Society of America (PRSA) for a discounted fee.
