Items Discussed:

• Joint Mathematics Meetings, San Diego, CA, January 6-9, 2002: Formed committee to study funding issues/deadlines and deadlines for papers/posters. Everyone is encouraged to think of topics for a paper/poster. Committee members are Scott Lavoie (Chair), Michael Polson, Gabe Zimmer, and Dayla Pike.
• MathFest 2001, Madison, WI, August 6-9, 2001: The committee will also take a look at possibly attending MathFest 2001.
• Voted to work problems from American Mathematical Monthly as a group, possibly to present at later functions.
• Spring Southeastern Section Meeting, Atlanta, GA, March 8-10, 2002: Dr. Kerley mentioned this as a possibility for next year, especially if we are unable to secure funding for San Diego. This meeting is a joint meeting with AMS.
