Sergeant First Class Kevin Brown

SFC Kevin L. Brown was born and raised in Nashville, TN. He joined the Army in December 1988 as a Field Artillery Crewmember; he received his Basic Training and Advance Training at Fort Hood, TX. SFC Brown has held all the positions in field artillery from Cannoneer to Platoon Sergeant. He also was a Recruiter/Station Commander for Army Recruiting Command.

SFC Brown assignments include three overseas tours Hawaii twice, and Australia. His stateside assignments include Fort Campbell, KY, Leesburg Florida, Fort Carson, Colorado, and Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Deploy to Operation Iraq Freedom I were he was combat wounded twice and awarded two Purple Heart Medals.

His military schools/training includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non Commission Course, Advance Non Commission Course, Instructor Training Course, Video Telecommunication Course, Small Group Instructor Course, System Approach to Training Course, Hazard Material Course, Nuclear Biological Course, Air Assault, and Combat Lifesaver Course.

His decorations and awards Meritorious Service Medal, Purple Heart (OLC), Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (8 OLC), Good Conduct (4OLC),National Defense Ribbon, Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Recruiter Badge w/ three Sapphires.
