Basic Military Physical Training (PT) (MSCI 1217) -
A physical conditioning class designed to promote high levels of performance on the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT), and to improve the health, endurance, and strength of the body. This course may be repeated up to four times for credit. The course prepares each cadet for the afore mentioned APFT consisting of 2 minutes of push-ups, 2 min. of sit-ups, as well as the two mile run.
Instructional Techniques for Military Physical Training (MSCI 3217) -
A physical conditioning class designed to prepare MS III and IV cadets to teach, conduct, and evaluate military physical training. In addition to building self-confidence in cadets, the course will also promote high levels of performance on the Army. Physical Fitness Test (APFT) and will help prepare cadets for commissioning as second lieutenants. Course may be repeated up to three times for credit.
The weekly schedule for PT is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday beginning at 06:30 and ending at 07:30.
