For Freshman the way to start is by enrolling in Mountaineering, Leadership and Survival I. This is the basic ROTC class which does not require any obligation from those students who choose to enroll. The great part about this class is that you get to see if Army ROTC is right for you and the class counts toward a physical education credit for graduation.

At the end of the term if you are still interested in becoming a contracted member of the Army ROTC program you would then follow are sequence of courses that will take you through your four years in the Army ROTC program.
