JOHNSON CITY (November 8, 2013) – The East Tennessee State University Department of Social Work will outline its proposed Two-Year Advanced Standing Part-Time M.S.W. Program in Kingsport on Saturday, Nov. 16.
An information session is planned that day at ETSU at Kingsport Downtown, 300 Clinchfield St., Suite 460, from 10 a.m.-noon.
“Individuals with the bachelor of social work degree who are interested in part-time graduate study will have the opportunity to speak with faculty about this proposed two-year program, which is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2014,” said Dr. Kelly Reath, associate professor and director of the master of social work degree program in the ETSU Department of Social Work.
The information session will cover the cohort model, in which a group of students enter and progress through an academic program together, as well as admissions requirements and the curriculum.
