Welcome to the Department of Family/Community Nursing (FCNU). This department is responsible for offering you courses in pediatrics, community health, women’s health, health assessment, international nursing and other courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Our faculty are active in practice in the Johnson City Downtown Clinic, Mountain City Extended Hours Clinic, school-based nurse-managed clinics and with physician colleagues. They participate in professional nursing organizations, and maintain active research and grant programs related to Hispanic care, care of the homeless, rural health, and women’s health.
