The College of Nursing at East Tennessee State University now has more than 5,000 nursing graduates who practice within our region and across the state, nation, and the world! We take pride in each and every one of our graduates and want to know where you are practicing and how you have grown in your nursing career. We also want to share your news with others in our "Alumni News" to be published in our Annual Report in the Fall term. The College of Nursing has established the ETSU College of Nursing Alumni Society that allows networking and collaboration amongst CON alumni. We welcome all in joining us as we "pay it forward" for the future generations of graduates from ETSU's College of Nursing.
Continuing Nursing Education Seminar:
The East Tennessee State University College of Nursing will hold a continuing nursing education seminar that highlights current issues in the profession Saturday, November 3rd, as part of the college's celebration of the ETSU homecoming.
The seminar "Informatics in Nursing" will highlight some of the top issues in nursing practice and nursing education, focusing on informatics in the nursing profession. It will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Nicks Hall, Room 130. Key note speaker will be Gail Broyles, MSN CCRN Director of Clinical Informatics for Mountain State Health Alliance.
Admission to the event is free. It is presented by the ETSU College of Nursing Office of Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) so CNE credit will be offered.
Following the CNE offering, the 4th annual College of Nursing Tea Social will immediately after the CNE offering and will be held in Nicks Hall, Room 134 from 11:30m to 12:30pm.
