This endowment is established to honor Barbara Oakley, R.N., B.S.N., for her commitment to nursing education and her advocacy for nursing students. Apply to the College of Nursing.

Criteria:

• Candidates must be accepted into the BSN major.
• First preference will be given to the student with the highest high school/college grade point average.
• Candidates should be active in professional and/or community activities.
• The recipient must possess a high degree of professionalism and have a proven potential for nursing excellence.
• Preference will be given to students who enroll full time.
