Criteria:
- Applicants must be registered and/or accepted as either undergraduate or graduate nursing majors at ETSU.
- Each undergraduate applicant must be registered for a full-time course schedule.
- Each graduate applicant must have been accepted to the graduate nursing program at ETSU.
- Documented financial need should be considered.
- Students already enrolled at ETSU, or who are transferring from another college, must have a satisfactory
GPA on all college work and must be either a senior nursing student or graduate nursing student at ETSU.
- In the judgment of the committee, candidates must possess potential for successfully completing their academic
nursing goal and have the potential for success in their nursing career.
- Once a student is selected to be a recipient, the individual may receive the award for one calendar year of
graduate or undergraduate work, providing he or she remains in good standing at the university, maintains a
satisfactory GPA, and in the judgment of the committee, continues to be deserving of the scholarship.
