Criteria:

• Candidates must be accepted into the BSN major.
• First preference will be given to the student with the highest SAT/ACT Exam score. Students with university/college credits will have their GPA considered.
• High school grade point average may be considered.
• Each candidate should be a member of a professional organization such as a state nurses' association or one of their clinical specialties, but is not limited to these. Students who are non-licensed will be expected to participate and be a member of the Association of Student Nurses.
• The recipient must possess a high degree of professionalism and have a proven potential for nursing excellence.
• Preference will be given to full-time students.
