In memory of a nursing alumna, Norma Barker ‘75, ‘80. For graduate students accepted into the Nursing Program. Apply to the College of Nursing.

Criteria:

• Candidates must be accepted into the MSN program. In the event there is no masters program or there are no qualified MSN candidates, the scholarship committee may award the scholarships to appropriate undergraduate students.
• First preference will be given to the student with the highest Graduate Record Exam score.
• Undergraduate grade point average may be considered.
• Each candidate should be a member of a professional organization such as a state nurses association or one of their clinical specialties, but is not limited to these.
• The recipient must possess a high degree of professionalism and have a proven record of maintaining nursing excellence.
• Preference will be given to full-time students.
