Mountain States
Health Alliance and East Tennessee
State University, College
of Nursing have formed a new partnership that will increase the
number of students admitted to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing
degree program. Due to the generous financial support from Mountain
States Health Alliance, the College of Nursing will be able to admit
some fifty additional four-year and second-degree nursing students
each year. These students will follow the same BSN
curriculum but will take their theory and clinical courses three to
four evenings during the week and on Saturdays. Students pursuing a
second degree in the evening/weekend program will still complete the
program in an accelerated format and traditional four-year students
will be able to complete the BSN curriculum one semester earlier
than is typical in the day curriculum.
The College of Nursing greatly appreciates the
financial support from Mountain States Health Alliance to make this
program possible. We are presently accepting applications for the
January 2008 class. Applications will be taken until the class is
full. Applications may be picked up in the Office of Academic
Programs and Student Services, Room 230, Roy S. Nicks Hall, Monday
through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. |
