Gerontological Nurse Practitioner Post-Master's Certificate |

Because the Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (GNP) program has such
a specialized focus, courses in the specialty are offered only when
there is need for such courses. The GNP specialty will be
offered when there are adequate numbers of admitted and enrolled
students to support the specialty. If you are interested in

| **All non-nurse practitioner post-master's
students are required to complete a minimum of 500 clock
hours of supervised clinical practica. *Fifty-one of the
90 clock hours for Health Assessment Practicum are completed
in the College of Nursing's learning labs. The other 39
hours are direct client contact hours in a clinical setting. |
