Washington County School-Based Health Centers have grown from the original center at David Crockett High School, which opened in 1993, to include centers at Daniel Boone High School and Jonesborough Elementary School. These health centers are funded through a partnership between the College of Nursing and the Board of Education. Primary nurse-managed care is available on site to school-age children, as well as teachers, staff and some family members.
