The College of Nursing (CON), a part of the Division of Health Sciences, offers PhD, MSN and BSN programs with some 1,082 nursing majors in Fall 2005. Of these majors, 636 students are fully admitted and enrolled in nursing courses. The College is well known for its excellent nursing programs, strong emphasis on community-based and interdisciplinary education, its extensive faculty practice network and an outstanding record in external funding.
