Dr. Priscilla Ramsey

Professor and Director of the NURSE center Dr. Priscilla Ramsey is currently involved in several  research projects.  One study, which is funded by a grant from the NCAA, examines multiple university approaches for alcohol awareness and abuse prevention among college students.  She is also involved in a federally funded LPN to BSN project which is in cooperation with 5 Tennessee Technology Centers – Elizabethton, Morristown, Greeneville, Kingsport, and soon, Bristol, and health care facilities of Wellmont, MSHA, and the VA. This project recruits LPN graduates to continue their education at ETSU and encourages them to work in one of the partnership agencies for tuition reimbursement. Both of these studies are still in progress, but Dr. Ramsey plans to publish her findings in the future.
