Adobe Acrobat Writer II
Course Description
This workshop is a follow-up to the Adobe Acrobat Writer I workshop and
specifically focuses on the creation of Acrobat Forms. In this workshop,
students will learn to use of the form tool and how to create the various
types of fields in a form. By the end of the workshop, students will
be able to:

Use the form tool to create fields

Understand the difference between the various types of fields

Understand how to use the calculate function of a field

Create a form in MS Word and convert it to PDF format

Define form fields

Text boxes

Check boxes

Combo boxes

Radio buttons

List boxes

Use calculations in Text boxes

Set tabbing order among fields
Class level: Intermediate
Intended audience: Anyone wishing to learn how to create forms
in .pdf format
Prerequisite: Familiarity with Acrobat Writer
Time required:
1.5 hours
Location requirements: Computer lab with Windows 95/98 and Adobe
Acrobat Writer program loaded.
