Online Course Development
OCD 100: Introduction to Online Teaching
Would you like to teach online but aren’t sure how to get started? Spend a few hours with your colleagues and learn the basics. This asynchronous online class will take about 10 hours of your time over 2 weeks. We will compare online teaching with face-to-face teaching, discuss ways to establish a sense of community online, and figure out how to match assessments to desired learning outcomes. At the end of the course, you will have a fully developed, peer-reviewed lesson that is suitable for your online course.
