Descriptions of the some of the listings on the public page:
- The Internet - Our gateway to the Internet.
In certain instances, the Internet may be unavailable and the
status on this device is 'up.' This device represents only
OIT responsibility as the error might be downstream, with our ISP
or further out on the Internet.
- Administrative Alpha - Our alpha cluster which
some refer to as the Vax. Used for SIS, HRS, FRS, Goldlink.
- Q:\ and S:\ services - Our file server that
holds all data located on the Q:\ and S:\ drives of your
workstation.
- VPN Concentrator - Lists the ability of VPN
resources.
