The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is a doctoral degree focused on clinical practice. The East Tennessee State University College of Nursing’s mostly online D.N.P. program prepares advanced practice nurses and executive nurse leaders to assess and evaluate evidence from research and translate or use the findings to affect practice change to enhance and promote quality of care.
The program coursework is offered online with required on-campus intensive sessions 1-2 times per semester.
Our online courses are taught by the same award-winning faculty who teach in our on-campus classrooms, and students will learn in an interactive online environment, as part of a program that was designed specifically for working professionals and those who prefer the flexibility of an online certification program blended with the rigor and quality of an on-campus experience.
