Dental Hygiene Completion Degree

100% Online Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cardiopulmonary Science

ETSU Online Dental Hygiene The Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene online degree completion program offered by East Tennessee State University is one of the first and most successful of its kind. ETSU accepted students into the first online graduating class in the fall of 2001. As of 2015, the program has 165 graduates in 26 states.

The online BS degree completion program in dental hygiene is limited to licensed dental hygienists who hold an associate degree in dental hygiene from an accredited US or Canadian dental hygiene program. All prospective students must make application to the program and the university.

This completion degree program is designed to build on the dental hygienist’s prior education and experiential learning and its flexibility and online format allows the working hygienist to complete a BS degree at her or his own pace. All course requirements for this program are online. However, all students are required to attend a one-day on-campus program orientation.
