Pharmaceutical Sciences

Sam Harirforoosh, PharmD., Ph.D is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at East Tennessee State University, Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy.  He coordinates and teaches Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacogenomics and teaches portions of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics course. 

Dr. Harirforoosh received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (Tehran, Iran) in 1991, and his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacokinetics) in 2005 from the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada).  He served as a research assistant and a postdoctoral fellow at the Pulmonary Research Group, University of Alberta from June 2005 to May 2006.  He is also a registered pharmacist with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.

Dr. Harirforoosh is a member of American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, American College of Clinical Pharmacology, American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences.
