Federal Grad/Plus Loans
Streamlined Lenders

Please be aware that the benefits offered by lenders to student loan borrowers vary and are subject to change. Before selecting a lender, please contact various lenders of interest and review their borrower benefits to determine which lender best meets your educational borrowing needs. The lenders listed in our Preferred Lender list have demonstrated their commitment to offering ETSU students the best overall terms and services over the life of their loan.

If Additional funds are needed the Federal Grad/Plus Loan Program is available.  To borrow funds through the Federal Grad Plus Loan Program, you must have first received your official Award Letter from the Office of Financial Aid.  Your Award Letter must indicate that you are eligible to borrow funds from this program before you may proceed.

  •   You must complete a grad plus application and provide an e-signature

  •   You must also indicate on the promissory note how much you intend to borrow.  You can not borrow more than indicated on your Award Letter; however, you may borrow less.

  •   You also must be credit worthy to receive funds from this program.

  •   A separate Grad Plus Loan Counseling Interview is required.
