Allen Coates

      Allen (Ph.D. Vanderbilt, 2004) joined the department as an assistant professor in 2005. His primary interests include ethical theory and epistemology. He has published in Philosophical Studies, and is currently working onpapers on the nature of practical reason and on related issues inmoral psychology and epistemology. Before coming to ETSU, he taught at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
