The dates of participation in this program are flexible, depending upon the schedules of the individual teacher and faculty mentor. The schedules and hours of the participants will be arranged in advance in collaboration with their advisor. Teachers will be paid by the hour; likely some teachers will work more hours than others, depending upon their individual schedules. Teachers can choose to work as much as 37 hours per week or as little as 8 hours per week. They can work every day or just a few days a week. They can choose to condense their work into just a couple of weeks, or extend it up to two or three months. Please include your preferences on dates and hours in your application letter.

Dates of participation must be between May 15 to July 30, 2008.

Between 4 and 8 teacher participants will be selected for this program. A total of 626 teacher-hours will be allowed for the whole program, between all the teachers, with an average of about 100 hours per teacher (about 2 1/2 weeks full-time work or 5 weeks half-time). Some teachers may work more hours than this, and some less, depending upon interest.
