The course is for 4 credit hours, composed of 3 credits for lecture and 1 credit for lab. The total grade will be based 75% on the lecture score and 25% on the lab score. Scores will be assessed as follows:
Homework Notes -
There will be seven homework sets. These will be multiple choice,
and answers are to be submitted on scantrons that you must purchase. These
are due at the beginning of class on the indicated due dates.
Essay Notes -
Information will be provided on a separate handout.
Exam Notes -
All exams will be multiple choice, and the final exam will be
comprehensive. You will need a calculator for some of the problems.
Lab Notes - There will be ten regularly-scheduled evening labs. Students must attend and submit their work for at least 8 of the normal labs to avoid an automatic ``F''. Lab reports will be due at the end of the lab period. Late work will not be accepted, and there will be no make-ups!
