This is an algebra/trig-based course on first semester physics, dealing with topics of classical mechanics and thermodynamics. You will learn about the physical principles operating in this context. You will learn about interpreting physical measurements and testing theories and claims. Although some math ability is an important tool for the course, the emphasis is primarily toward concepts and critical thinking pertaining to physics. It is also hoped that you will develop an appreciation for physics and science in general.
