The purpose of
the Professional Staff Association is to promote the professional development of
all administrative and support staff, as well as to provide a positive image for
East Tennessee State University by assisting local charitable agencies that
serve the Tri-Cities region. The membership holds semiannual meetings and
quarterly fund- raising campaigns to support community service agencies.
PSA supports the
ETSU Family Fund which offers help to Non-Faculty ETSU Staff during times of
need. Some other agencies PSA has supported in the past are our Armed
Forces, American Red
Cross, Haven of Mercy, Johnson City/Washington County Animal Shelter, Emergency
Child Shelter, Salvation Army, Dawn of Hope and many others.
