NIH Electronic Submission
As part of
the Department of Health and Human Services' implementation of
e-Government the NIH is transitioning each research grant
mechanism to electronic submission through
Grants.gov and the use of the
SF 424 Research and Related (R&R) forms. For information on this
transition and for the process of submitting applications electronically, please see NIH's Electronic Submission website at
http://era.nih.gov/ElectronicReceipt/
and the
transition timeline.
NIH will announce each grant mechanism change in the NIH Guide to Grants
and Contracts (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/index.html).
NIH electronic submissions require registration
with both Grants.gov and NIH eRA Commons. ETSU as an institution is
registered with Grants.gov. However, individual PIs must register with NIH eRA Commons prior to submission. If you have questions about or
need assistance with registration, please contact
Cynthia Hardin.
