The table below shows the transition schedule for the Federal Agencies.

You MUST have a compatible version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (we recommend version 8.1.3 or 9.1.2 or 9.2) installed on your computer in order to prepare an application package for submission through Grants.gov. Earlier or older versions are NOT compatible. For more information concerning compatible versions, please see http://www.grants.gov/help/download_software.jsp#adobe811.

Explanatory Note: The compatible version of Adobe Reader is necessary only for downloading and using the Grants.gov application package. You will need .PDF generation software, i.e. Adobe Professional, to convert one of your own files to .PDF format. You can find a list of .PDF generation software at http://www.grants.gov/agencies/software.jsp#3 .

Click the "Get Adobe Reader" button below to be directed to the Adobe download page. You will need to know what version of Windows is on your computer.

IMPORTANT:
If Adobe Reader version 9.3 does not work on your computer,
i.e. you cannot open a grants package with it, you may need to
uninstall version 9.3 then download version 9.2.
