Funding
for research and other projects is available through a variety of
sources ranging from private foundations to federal agencies. It is
important to have a clear definition of what you're looking for before
starting your search. You and your project may meet the eligibility
requirements for a number of different programs. However, you must
first identify what these opportunities are and where to find them.
As a starting point for your
search, we have divided funding opportunities into two categories, Internal and External
Opportunities. Internal Opps are those available through ETSU or a
related source; external opps are through agencies external to ETSU Please follow the links below to find out more

Community of Science.
COS offers the largest Internet repository of funding
opportunities in all fields and provides
access to more than 20,000 grant programs. Among the COS
services is COS Funding Alert, a customized service that
automatically e-mails individual researchers about
funding opportunities that apply to their research. If

ILLUMINA
- The New COS
Grants.gov allows organizations to electronically find and apply
for competitive grant opportunities from all Federal
grant-making agencies. Grants.gov is the single access point for
over 1,000 grant programs offered by the 26 Federal grant-making
agencies.
