for submission through Grants.gov. Earlier or older versions are NOT compatible.
Explanatory Note: The compatible version of Adobe Reader is necessary only for downloading and using the Grants.gov application package. You do not need to have a specific version of Adobe Acrobat, i.e. Professional, to convert one of your own files to .PDF format.
